Hooray, it’s Sunday! That means it’s time to grab a nice hot cuppa (don’t forget the biscuits…) and scroll through the Sewing Newspapers. We spotted lots of gorgeous makes this week and we are super excited to share them with you. Seriously, the blogger community is on a roll!

Also, if you want to find out a little bit more about what goes on behind the scenes at The Fold Line HQ check out this video! We filmed a little Q&A to answer all your burning questions.

Enjoy and have a nice weekend!

Jen aka The Ginger Thread Girl is looking jaw dropping gorgeous in her Vogue V9311 Maxi Dress!

These trousers have such fun details and we are totally here for it. Katie of What Katie Sews used the Trend TPC12 pattern and added some super cool pockets on the side panels!

This is Marie’s aka A Stitching Odyssey 6th version of the Pauline Alice Aldaia Dress! She added her 1950s-inspired linen collar (McCall’s 1911) which she made a few years ago and we are loving the nautical vibes!

We cannot get enough of jumpsuits, in all the colours, styles, and shapes! This stylish number is made by Kelli from True Bias and she used the Frisco Jumpsuit pattern by Threadbear Garments.

This is ah-mah-zing! Heather Lou from Closet Case Patterns made this Victorian style blouse using the Gibson Girl Blouse from Folkwear Patterns. She stitched the lace so beautifully, we are head over heels in love!

Don’t these trousers look super comfortable! Kathy aka Sew Dainty made the Style Arc Clare pant with nice and big pockets, what more could anyone wish for?

Alice aka The Polka Dot Palace is once again hacking the high street! She stitched the Sew Over It Vintage Shirtdress in a lovely stripey cotton inspired by Warehouse. The outcome is better than the original!

Sara who blogs at The Sara Project is ready for fall with her scrumptious Julien Chore Jacket by Ready to Sew. That cord is out of this world!

These are the Megan Nielsen Dawn Jeans with a simple front hack beautifully sewn up by Elle from Randomly Happy! There is nothing we don’t like about these jeans, in fact we are really jealous and we’ve added Dawn to our to sew lists!

Laura at The Petite Passions stitched up this lovely monochrome Nina Lee Mayfair dress. It is elegant but comfy at the same time as this dress is made in a jersey fabric.

Vicky at Sewstainability is looking gorgeous in her Hinterland dress. This pattern by Sew Liberated is one of our favourite patterns and Vicki has picked the perfect fabric for it!

Take a look at all the new fabrics, haberdashery and kits from sewing businesses this week…

Inspired by the 70’s the popular blog A Beautiful Mess designed their own fabric collection, and we’re in love! These prints are so fun to mix and match. You can shop them at Cloth Candy!

Not a ‘pin’ person? How about a brooch person? This Pink Coat Club brooch is made of wood and it has the traditional “dots and crosses” pattern paper engraved in it.

We spotted this fine grey and white striped cotton at Loom & Stars, it’s woven by hand and it’s lovely how the stripes have more depth because of it.

This super cool terrazzo print cotton is for sale over at Fabric Godmother and we might just want to snap some of it up for ourselves. Did we mention it’s on sale?! 😉

Clothspot, you had us at animal print… This smooth and drapey turquoise & khaki green viscose is divine!

Hayley revealed the content of this months box and we could not love the theme Summer Meadow more! Pop over to Sew Haley Jane's website to see what she included, and there is still time to sign up for next months box too!

These bright and bold flowery prints are all ex designer fabrics, sourced from sunny and fabulous Italy! Sew Me Sunshine is stocking a bunch of different ex designer fabrics at the moment and we might just be a bit obsessed with them...

Aren’t these wild animals just too cute? What a beautiful design and such lovely colours! Have a look over at Lulou Designs.

This colourful cotton lawn from Sew Over It looks good enough to eat! It would make a fabulous shirt dress or a pleated skirt! We definitely want to add it to our handmade wardrobes!

This dress is seriously twisted and we are digging it! This McCall's dress is fitted with an invisible back zip and it has back darts to give it more shape. The pattern comes with different bodice and length variations too.

At first glance this looked like a normal cotton lawn with a pretty cool print. But then we zoomed in! It has embroidered accents which really take this fabric from Lamazi Fabrics to the next level.

Nani Iro fabrics are so special, and really not like any other fabrics we’ve seen. These beauties from The Draper's Daughter are perfect if you want to make something for a special occasion or if you just want to treat yourself!

We are totally into this mustard and hot pink colour combination! As aways, we can trust Urban Stax to have the most amazing fabrics.

This is possibly the sweetest Liberty fabric we’ve ever seen! It's called rumble and roar and it's available at Fabrics Galore.

We keep a handy list of sewing events, exhibitions and meet ups happening in the sewing community all over the world on our sewing social calendar here.

Come and join our sewing Facebook group where we are chatting about sewing plans, new patterns and helping each other out with projects.
